JFKIAT’s new CEO Roel Huinink is a couple of months into his new role and is making the rounds.

He can be seen at most airport events, meeting with management and workers. He is a very busy man getting to understand the ways and procedures and people at this amazing airport. Unable to schedule in interview yet with us, he sends this message to the airport community:

“The community at JFK and Terminal 4 is strong and committed to deliver the best experience to the passenger traveling through our facility. It has given me a warm welcome in this very dynamic position. I am glad to see a dedicated team at T4, with colleagues and business partners committed to collaboration and cooperation.

JFKIAT has always, and will remain, focused on a close collaboration with our partners and stakeholders and strong ties with the local community. In 2017 we created a 4GOOD program, a philanthropic and sustainability program encouraging social change, general well-being, and environmental stewardship through a variety of local initiatives. I am very pleased with the efforts and thrilled to see so many T4 employees giving back to the community we serve.

With my new team, we have put together strategic directions that will allow us to further develop and constantly improve our performance moving forward. The safety and security of all T4 employees and customers are always our highest priority and we are committed to enhancing the safety and security culture and leadership within our organization and among our partners.
