The final piece is in place for the JFK Airport 911 Memorial Ceremony. A piece of steel from the World Trade Center fallen towers will grace the 911 ceremony to be held at the JFK Airport ball fiend. The service, which is sponsored by the Port Authority and the JFK Chamber of Commerce and friends, will take place from 8-10am Tuesday September 11, 2018. The entire JFK Airport community and adjacent communities will participate in a solemn event featuring an honor guard, bag piper, and participants from all branches of the military, first responders, and supporters of those fallen during the 911 attack.

All are invited to attend. Shuttle busses will run to and from the Airtrain at Federal Circle as well as from Building 14 from 7am-Noon. Vehicle parking is free in the adjacent parking lot.
